A week of driving however I start to notice my sight doesn’t go as tired as usual. On the other hand, HID lights use a gas-filled bulb and produce a brighter, more intense light. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to install, but they have a shorter lifespan and produce more heat than HID lights. Recently I was rear ended and the car went to the shop, so I got a rental and would you know it, I got the old style halogen lights. Halogen lights are incandescent bulbs that use a tungsten filament to produce light. My vision obviously is so much better, right? I mean they are brighter, more defined where it’s lit and where the light ends. So I have several cars with HID light and when I got my first car with HIDs I was amazed by how bright they were. This is likely just an HID bulb rebased to fit a halogen connection, but wont change the beam pattern. Halogen reflector housings dont have that, and a bulb cant make that happen.
